Indian Food



The author was able to state specific places, cuisines, food and others and was able to detail them concretely although he used some vague words. He stated specific places in India and their cuisine counterpart and gave concrete descriptions of it. Take this for instance, "Kashmiri cuisines reflect strong Central Asian influences." He was able to give concrete description to it by giving supporting details. "In Kashmir, mostly all the dishes are prepared around the main course of rice found abundantly in the beautiful (the word beautiful is vague/neutral) valley.” Another example is, “In the Eastern India, the Bengali and Assamese styles of cooking are noticeable... A special way of preparing the delicacy known as 'Hilsa' is by wrapping it in the pumpkin leaf and then cooking it.” He specified what part of India (Eastern India) and gave a supporting detail why the Bengali and Assamese styles of cooking are noticeable.
